Xothian star spawns of Cthulhu

I had sum kind of idea that they would differ from their King,
with a more feral, slick design.
But this fella look like sumthin you would be gunning down in Resident Evil....

I also imagined that in bright daylight/electric light, their eyes, adapted to the dark depths of sunken R'lyeh or the darkness of space, would go blind.
In such occasions, those facial tentacles would become feelers, constantly scanning the surroundings ahead.
Giving sum kinda "oh, no, we must flick that light switch on and hide sumwhere!" situations.
